The NEW Bassman PRO Series of amplifiers, featuring:
Super Bassman Head
The Super Bassman 300 watt amp head is one of the most powerful and versatile amplifiers that fender have ever made. This Stadium-ready tube head was is simply made for the biggest shows and performances. Featuring Fender’s classic “blackface” design that has been “recognisably Fender” since day dot. The Super Bassman won’t let you down with its enormous bass sound that will have bassists, worldwide weeping in adoration. Well... maybe not weeping, but you get the idea.
The head’s dual-channel design uses modern technology to maximise classic technology with a wealth of innovative features on the front and rear panels. For the guts of the Super Bassman, you’re dealing with a tube preamp (2x 12AX7s) and power amp (1x 12AX7, 1x12AX7, 6x 6550s). The Amps vintage channel delivers the full, warm sound of a classic Fender passive tone stack and the dirty overdrive channel shoots out the aggressive and responsive sound of a modern active tone stack. You also have the option to alternate between the two channels with the included footswitch.
This Bassman includes the rear-panel Fender Automatic Bias system that constantly monitors and re-biases tubes for perfect performance, and alerts you when service is required. The amp features a Speaker Output switch that can be set to “Mute” to turn the speaker off and record silently using just the preamp tone from the XLR output, and with an impedance switch (8, 4 or 2 ohms) and master volume control with push/pull mute, you’re options are always open.
