New Hayden Mini MoFo Amplifiers

The master MoFo, a 30 watt amp head that started it all back in 2009, has now made way for more adorable little amplings. The Mini MoFo is a smaller, lower wattage, all-valve alternative amp that packs just as big a shock as its big bro. The class A, 15 watt single channel amp imprisons 2x EL84 valves and a whole lot of attitude that’s just dying for you to break it out of its rugged steel chassis cell.

Now, for NAMM 2012, we’re in for a sweet treat from Hayden Amplifiers, with the launch of their new Mini MoFo amps. Fresh from the Hayden Custom Shop the new Mini MoFo’s feature a hard, sweet candy shell enclosing a world of trouble in the form of two devious little tubes. The all new, colour infused Mini MoFo’s feature all the same great specs as the respected original amp.

Available in 5 vibrant custom colours, the new amp heads produce stunning bell-like plexi-esque clean tones as well as flipping the table to roar out some full-throttle, pedal to the metal, candy camouflaged chaos. With 4 staggered amp stages, all-valve circuitry and foot-switchable MoFo mode for even more gain; the Mini MoFo does not play around.

Separate UK and US voiced guitar inputs shape the signal for a classic British tone or a thinner, higher gain US sound, whatever suits you. With both 8 and 16 Ohm speaker outputs, the Mini MoFo can drive a wide range of cabinets from a boutique 1x12 in the studio right up to a 4x12 on the concert stage.

Controls include, bass, middle, treble and presence, and a stealth switch underneath, reducing volume output for quieter practice sessions. You can also connect your favourite stomp box effects through the MoFo’s simple series effects loop.
