Slipknot's Jim Root Signature #4 Orange Gear: NAMM 2012
Slipknot's Jim Root Signature Orange Gear: NAMM 2012
Orange Amplifiers have announced their first new products of 2012. In association with Slipknot and Stone Sour's famed guitarist, the Signature #4 Jim Root Terror Head and Cab have been developed to bring you Jim's full tone and complement Jim's own style and image with their formidable and attention grabbing design and the Slipknot and Stone Sour logos featured on the rear of the amp.
"With this amp, simply giving it the number I use in Slipknot seemed logical. I've not been to apt to splash either band logo or artwork all over things, but this will be the beginning of the end of that...maybe."
Both amplifiers are Modelled after the Dirty Channel on the same amp that Jim Root plays in the studio and on the road, the same amp that have helped two of today-s best in American hard rock bands acheive multiple Grammy nominations and awards: the Orange Rockerverb 100.

The new Jim Root cab is finished in black vinyl with a specially developed black version of the Orange basketwave grille clothe with a Signature #4 plate on the front. The cab has a closed-back design, a tight bottom end and delivers Jim's signature Orange tone.
