Liverpool Music Week Teams up with Orange Amps for 2011 Music Showcase!
Liverpool Music Week 2011
![]() |
Liverpool Music Week is an annual festival that has continuously brought us days and nights packed full of great music, from established artists such as Darwin Deez (2010) to new up and coming musicians attempting to burst into the industry. Since the first festival was hosted back in 2003, LMW has grown to become the UK’s biggest indoor winter music festival. |
In addition to the many performances hosted by MOJO and other venues, LMW will be holding the closing party in The Contemporary Urban Centre (CUC) on New Bird Street, Liverpool. The concluding showcase will be headlined by English singer, electronic music producer and Mercury nominee, Ghostpoet, who is currently touring and will be performing in over 20 venues throughout Europe this year.
LMW Director, Mike Deane said: “The Liverpool Music Week 2011 closing show will be an unprecedented experience, one absolutely not to miss, and perfect event to take us into our 10th festival year.”
On another note, LMW will be running a series of panels and seminars with some of the biggest names in the UK music industry. They’ll be coming together to discuss issues and opportunities within the sector. These industry “movers and shakers” will also be offering advice and support to a number of related music businesses, musicians and individuals who are interested in establishing themselves, or progressing further within the industry.
The 2011 showcase is sponsored by Sennheiser, and look out because Dolphin music will be providing Liverpool Music Week with a selection of incredible Orange bass amplifiers, you can’t miss them… they’re orange!
