Reason has long since learnt it stripes in the professional arena and it’s legacy can be heard everywhere from the pop charts to underground electronic music to film and video game scores.

A brand new addition to the Reason family is the attractively priced Reason Essentials which does exactly what it say on the tin. This entry level DAW delivers pro quality recording, editing, effects, instruments, and mixing tools and is user friendly enough to ensure you get to focus on your music.

To coincide with Reason’s new recording capabilities, its creators Propellerhead have developed Balance, an aesthetically stunning 2 in 2 out audio interface that boasts total integration with both Reason 6 and Reason Essentials and actually ships with a full version of the latter included. Balance not only looks great but sounds great too offering high quality sound and great connectivity. Not only is Balance perfect for use with Propellerhead products it is also fully compatible with most 3rd party audio software.
