Today, the respected computer music software and hardware developers Native Instruments launch the latest incarnation of their wildly popular virtual instrument and sample library collection Komplete, and once again it seems that they've upped the ante in terms of audio software packages. Komplete 8 will be available as two versions plus updates, upgrades and crossgrades from previous editions of Komplete and a selection of other Native Instruments products (see crossgrade product page for details). Today also sees the lauch of Studio drummer a Kontact powered, studio quality acoustic drum instrument powered by the new Kontakt 5 engine which appears in the Komplete collection but will also be available seperately. Komplete 8 follows on as the direct successor to the critically acclaimed Komplete 7 and offers new features including the new Guitar Rig 5, Kontakt 5 and Studio Drummer and boasts a Massive (sorry!) 110Gb of sounds. Pretty exciting stuff, but if that wasn't enough to get your teeth into the big news today is the unveiling of Native’s all new flagship collection Komplete 8 Ultimate and when we say big, we mean it. This is the daddy of software/sample collections. Due to its vast size, Komplete 8 Ultimate comes pre-loaded on a Native instruments USB 2.0 hard drive and features 240GB of virtual instruments, samples and effects
