Published: Mon June 27, 2011  News Feed

So the UK tour and festival season has begun is well on its way, beginning Isle of Wight and Download Festival and with the UK's biggest, Glastonbury just finished! It's more likely than not that you'll hear the sounds of  90% of our catalogue appear across stages this summer with the likes of Fender, Yamaha, Vox, Korg, Orange Amps, Ashdown, Gibson, Epiphone and Roland endorsing some of the biggest artists and bands around.

After our first round with Download and Isle of Wight, this time up, we have Take That who, come July 9th will have finished the UK section of their Progress tour. Their first studio album as a 5-some in over 10 days has not only seen them flying high in the charts but pack out stadiums (including a 5-date Manchester Old Trafford and 10-date Wembley) throughout UK and Europe, performing to more than 1.7 million people.

We wouldn't want you to miss out so come and join the other 1.7 million people who have witnessed some of Roland and Yamaha's finest gear being used throughout Take That's mega UK and Europe Tour - Apart from putting on one of the finest shows in history, the boys also share the stage with some of the most exciting Roland synths & workstations and have clearly raided the Yamaha drum cupboard!

Take That Roland

Take That's synth man, Bernie Smith, plays the Roland Jupiter-80 and Fantom-G8 workstation. While the Fantom-G8 enables him to accurately recreate the Take That setlist in amazing quality, pride of place has to go to the Jupiter-80. The new synth is a reinvention of Roland's Iconic Jupiter-8 and is destined to be seen on all the big tours thanks to its ability to fill entire stadiums with electrifying sounds not possible on any other synth.

Take That take all of Yamaha's catalogue

Take That's Musical Director Mike Stevens has selected some great musicians to accompany the boys and are playing heaps of great Yamaha products, from CP1 stage keys to DTX Multi Pads, APX guitars, a huge Oak Custom kit and more!

As a special offer for a limited time only, you can buy the famous Yamaha APX range of guitars with 35%-41% off and in only what can be described as a beautiful range of colours - see the whole APX acoustic guitar range.
