Graduate Web Designer Required

www.dolphinmusic.co.uk are one of the UK's leading online music retailers. With a forward thinking dynamic website we are looking for a Graduate Web Designer with experience in both on and offline materials, to work within our bustling marketing department.

You will be required to:

• Produce coherent website banners and graphics promoting musical instruments and equipment.
• Design materials for print including posters, adverts and brochures. In-house roll digital printer available for limited runs/custom sizes or one-off prints.
• Design, code and implement e-mail-marketing campaigns, using Mailchimp.
• Design, code and implement competition forms.
• Work with the development team to maintain the current website as well as develop further functionalities from a design perspective.
• Write clean, flexible, semantic HTML code, based on your designs, that is cross-platform compatible and works in all major browsers.

You will:

• Be proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign.
• Have excellent xHTML/CSS skills.
• Have Solid user interface design skills.
• Understand how e-commerce needs to function in order generate revenue.
• Have a basic understanding of Javascript/jQuery and its limitations.
• Be able to prepare his/her layouts for printing in-house or using an external printing service.
• Be able to work with limited resources and meet tight deadlines.
• Have an interest in music and music related products.
