The pioneering Australian microphone brand Rode has just launched a new web-based media avenue called RodeTV. The new site features a multi- channel 'remote control' Allowing visitors to choose from a range of free to view video content including artist interviews, behind the scenes features, technical advice and much more. There is some really interesting content up there that could be of great help to existing Rode users, those who are maybe considering their first Rode product and to pretty much anyone with an interest in audio capture.
Rode has received praise from all corners of the industry for its innovative products including the award winning NT2-A and their range of video camera and camcorder microphones. Their new offering, the VideoMic Pro is set to continue this trend and was one of the buzz products announced at this year's NAMM show. With a whole host of new features specific to high end video capture and application plus many improvements on its sibling, the hugely popular VideoMic, the Pro version is still surprisingly modestly priced and offers plenty of bang for your buck.
