Fender 60th Anniversary Signature Series
Amongst the 40 new product releases from Fender at this years NAMM, they celebrate their 60th anniversary with two of their classic models. A 60th Anniversary Precision Bass and a 60th Anniversary Telecaster. They might be slightly more pricey than the original P-Bass and Telecasters but here's why you should have one...
Since its birth in 1951, the Fender Precision Bass guitar has redefined popular music, and continues to in the hands of contemporary artists worldwide. The 60th Anniversary Precision Bass guitar embodies six decades of Fender bass legacy in a collectible U.S.-made instrument. Features include an ash body, maple neck and fretboard with modern 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets, vintage Precision Bass split single-coil pickup, modern tuners, high-mass vintage bridge, knurled control knobs, black pickguard, Blackguard Blonde thin-skin lacquer finish, commemorative neckplate, and Fender/SKB® molded case.

Orange TH100 Bass Amp Head
Orange Amps continue to advance their guitar amps range with the new TH100 head, the 100 watt big brother of the TH30. The TH100 head gives the best of both world's, with two channels allowing for a gorgeous clean tone on one hand and a classic overdrive crunch on the other - just like its little brother. With exactly the same controls and preamp section as its smaller sibling, but when running in class AB1 (half power) it makes 35 watts on two output tubes, and 70 watts on four output tubes. Put it to full power (AB2 position) and the amp makes 50 watts with two output tubes and 100 watts with four. Being able to switch to half power means you can reduce the listening volume while preserving the power tube distortion.
