NAMM 2010: Tascam HS Solid State Recorders
News FeedProfessional recording and playback to solid-state media has arrived with Tascam announcing the colourful touch screen HS-2 and HS-8.
The Tascam HS-8 and HS-2 use a color touch-screen interface to access settings and tracks. Audio is recorded as Broadcast WAV files to Compact Flash media, with SMPTE and RS-422 synchronization available. Tascams HS-8 is an 8 Track Solid State Recorder where as the HS-2 is a Stereo Solid State recorder both with top-quality 192kHz/24-bit recording.
