NAMM 2010: Focusrite release Saffire MIxControl V2
News FeedThe latest version of Saffire MixControl, the powerful software mixer environment included with ALL Focusrite Saffire PRO audio interfaces and the Liquid Saffire 56 has been announced.
New features for Focusrite Saffire MixControl V2.0 include 64-bit Snow leopard drivers and full Windows 7 drivers as well as improvements that make Focusrite Firewire interfaces even more versatile.
Windows PC users will benefit from additional buffer steps, allowing them to have more control of the ASIO buffer size and therefore the option to optimise their system for the task in hand, whether they’re tracking or mixing
The Focusrite Saffire MixControl V2.0 software platform will make way for some innovative new features in 2010 which will appeal to existing users of Focusrite’s Saffire interfaces and potential customers alike.
Note that in order to add 64-bit support for Snow Leopard, Saffire MixControl V2.0 and all subsequent releases will no longer support Mac OS V10.4. However, Mac OS v10.4 users will still be able to use Saffire MixControl v1.8
