NAMM 2010: Yamaha 900 Grand Series Concert Toms
New High Quality Concert Toms Designed with Unique Air-Seal System; Feature a Ball and Socket Design for Total Stability.
Yamaha Corporation of America, Band and Orchestral Division, is introducing the 900 Grand Series Concert Toms at Winter NAMM 2010. Ideal for any solo or ensemble performance, the new Toms are constructed with the exclusive Air-Seal System process and feature the YESS II mount, which allows increased sustain and tone without sacrificing stability.
Available in 6", 8", 10", 12", 13", 14", 15", and 16" sizes, the toms come with the WS-860A Tom Stands and feature a ball and socket design for complete adjustment and stability. The stand offers a lean, double-braced leg design that gives the performer ultimate stability.
"In the last few years, we have stepped up the products designed for the professional percussionist improving our bass drums and concert snare drums," noted Troy Wollwage, marketing manager, Yamaha Percussion. "The 900 Grand Series Concert Toms are the next step in that progress. Using the Yamaha Air-Seal System, made famous with our marching drums and drum sets, these concerts toms use an oak shell to produce a wide dynamic range."
The 900 Grand Series Concert Toms will be available in April 2010.
