Liverpool is buzzing right now, thanks to the Liverpool Music Week which's taking place at several music venues in town, including the Leaf Tea Shop & Bar. We made our bit to help keeping things a little more exciting on Mondays night, and our Ableton Evening last night went down really well!

Demonstrators showcased the new Novation Launchpad, the innovative Ableton Live controller which has been a massive success since it was released last month - they actually sold out pretty fast here at Dolphin, and we're expecting more soon!

Also showcased, of course, was the new Ableton Live 8, which enables you to create, real-time digital music with a wealth of new techniques, effects and most-wanted workflow improvements.

Ableton Live 8 is about making music: for composition, songwriting, recording, production, remixing and live performance.

Live's nonlinear, intuitive flow, alongside powerful real-time editing and flexible performance options, make it a unique studio tool and a favorite with live performers. If you'd rather be "making music" than just "using music software!"

Several top artists worldwide use Ableton Live, including Hot Chip, Daft Punk, Justice, The Horrors and many others.

The crowd who packed Leaf seemed to really enjoy the product demos - and the goodie bags, of course!
