New customers

Starting July 1st, 2009, when you purchase SONAR 8 Studio or SONAR 8 Producer, you will be eligible to download the next paid update to SONAR for free.

Upgrading customers

Starting July 1st, 2009, when you upgrade to SONAR 8 Studio or SONAR 8 Producer, you will be eligible to download the next paid update to SONAR for free.

Eligibility

Purchases or upgrades must be made on or after July 1st, 2009 through March 1 st, 2010. If you purchase SONAR 8 Studio, you will be eligible to receive the next paid update to SONAR Studio. If you purchase SONAR 8 Producer, you will be eligible to receive the next paid update to SONAR Producer.

In order to redeem the free download, you must register the product with Cakewalk.com. Please make sure you register your product with a valid email account so that you can be notified when the free update is available. You can also visit this page once the next paid update is announced to find out how to redeem your free download. The next update to SONAR will also be available on DVD for a nominal fee at time of release for those customers with slower connection speeds or who prefer physical media.
