Musikmesse Frankfurt : Roland unveils four new e-pianos
Keys dominate Roland’s Frankfurt debuts but new Micro Cube accessory is also revealed
Roland has kicked off its Frankfurt showcase with the launch of four new digital pianos and a new accessory addition to its ever-popular Micro Cube guitar amp range.
A treasure trove of classical organs and instruments in a compact cabinet, the new C-230 has an instantly selectable library of instruments onboard, including coveted classical organ and bass tones, harpsichords, fortepiano, celesta, and more. The internal amplification system provides high-quality output, with two satellite speakers and RSS ambience technology for an immersive sound.
Originally available in Medium Cherry (DP-990-MC) and Satin Black (DP-990-SB) finishes, the new DP-990R-PE raises the bar with its Ivory Feel keys and stunning, high-gloss Polished Ebony (PE) finish. The 88-key stereo multi-sampled piano also features enhanced song-playback capability via USB host port; audio data (wav files) and MIDI files can be played from USB memory key.
The newest member of Roland’s compact digital-piano line-up is the eye-catching F-110. Featuring an attractive wooden cabinet in Satin Black or Satin White finishes, it is an 128-voice polyphony, 88-key stereo multi-sampled piano and high-quality library of sounds. It also features a unique cabinet with folding lid, acclaimed keyboard touch from the PHA alpha II keyboard and luxurious metallic 3-pedal unit embedded in the stand.
The custom-fitted, protective cover for the Micro Cube shields the amplifier during transport, storage, and outdoor performance. With the cover on, cables can still be connected, batteries can be changed, and the carrying strap can be accessed for easy transport and use. Available in enamel red or matte black colours, it features heavy-duty, fabric with double-stitched corners for shock absorption.
