New Limited ‘Edition Tube’ Combo Celebrates Hughes&Kettner’s 25th Anniversary

Hughes&Kettner celebrates its 25th year in business in 2009. And to mark its silver jubilee, the company has launched a limited run of a new, improved version of its acclaimed Edition Tube 1x12” guitar combo.
The 25th Anniversary Edition Tube features two channels and dual EL84 20w power amps driving a Celestion G12T-100 speaker. The design of the speaker’s enclosure is aimed at optimizing low-end frequencies to deliver a depth of tone rare in a 1x12” combo. Coupled with the ‘saturation friendly’ power section, the Anniversary Edition Tube serves up thick rock tones at medium volume, and couples this with a crystal-clear clean channel.
Designed and built in Germany, the limited Edition also sports a three band EQ section, Accutronics spring reverb, effects loop and extension speaker output.
