Yamaha Enters Portable PA Market with STAGEPAS 300
Once reserved for simple speech reproduction, portable PA systems have had to meet the increasing demands of complex multimedia presentations and live performances. Yamaha Professional Audio answers the need for more professional features, increased coverage, clarity and performance with the STAGEPAS 300, making its debut at Winter NAMM. With its easy-to-use, ultra-compact design, 2-way loudspeakers and an eight-channel (four mono, two stereo) mixer, the STAGEPAS is a perfect choice for corporate multimedia presentations, schools, churches, solo performers and small music groups. STAGEPAS is also the first portable, completely self-contained PA system manufactured by Yamaha.
Each speaker contains an 8\" woofer and 1\" compression driver, driven by an efficient 150-watt (x 2) Class D amplifier. The STAGEPAS 300 mixer features balanced XLR connectors, mic/line switches and balanced 1/4\" jacks, 2-band channel EQ and switchable 24-bit digital reverb. RCA connectors with separate level control for a tape recorder or a CD player are conveniently located on the front panel, plus stereo-out and monitor connections. For added convenience, both high-impact molded speaker enclosures include pole mount adaptors and rear compartments that house the mixer, cabling, mics and accessories.
