The show floor buzzes with activity as M-Audio, Digidesign and Sibelius debut exciting new products and present non-stop demos.

The 125th AES convention in San Francisco, CA was a landmark event for M-Audio, Digidesign and Sibelius. From October 3-5, thousands of audio professionals and industry executives flooded the halls of the Moscone Center to interact with company representatives and review the newest offerings. The show featured three days of hands-on workstations, panel discussions and live demonstrations—plus exciting product announcements from the leaders in music technology.
The M-Audio, Digidesign and Sibelius booth buzzed with activity as attendees checked out the latest from the leading names in audio technology. The biggest announcement of the weekend came when Digidesign debuted Pro Tools® 8 software, which includes powerful music creation tools, a completely revamped user interface and several new virtual instruments. Large crowds gathered from morning until evening to catch a glimpse of the world’s most advanced digital audio platform. The action-packed weekend also featured the debut of several other M-Audio and Digidesign products. Click here to check out all the new gear.
M-Audio capped off the show by taking home the distinguished Pro Audio Review PAR Excellence award for the ProFire™ 2626 audio interface—winning out over many other prestigious companies including Lynx, Apogee and RME. Digidesign® Pro Tools 7.4 was honored with the 2008 Tech Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement in Workstation Technology, presented by the Mix Foundation during ceremonies held on Friday, October 3rd, at the Westin St. Francis hotel.
