Spandau Ballet Star Takes Delivery of Flagship Clavinova
Tony Hadley is a very well known face within the UK pop scene and has just joined the list of famous musicians playing Yamaha Clavinova, having just taken delivery of the flagship CGP1000.
Tony has been a very accomplished artist since 1990 following his successful career with Spandau Ballet, which included a string of global hits such as ‘True’, ‘Gold’ and ‘Cut a long story short’. Tony has just celebrated 25 years as a professional musician, an incredible achievement. As well as his considerable talent for song writing and recording, Tony’s real passion lies with live performance. Tony has toured the world with his band, including performances on all continents of the globe.
In addition to his work within the world of Tony is involved in many different activities including work with a selection of charities, and indeed a recent appearance on ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ raised £64,000 for The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
Tony’s new Clavinova will be used for song writing, and offers a great selection of features perfect for this use. Tony was impressed with the quality of sound, huge range of functions and the fact that the CGP1000 is contained within a high quality grand piano cabinet – it simply looks stunning in Tony’s home.
