Collectible Classic Fender Art Prints From ArteHouse!
You won’t part with your ArteHouse prints, either.
For the first time, several of ad genius Robert Perine’s famous “You Won’t Part With Yours Either” Fender ads from the 1960s are now officially available as high-quality prints from ArteHouse.
ArteHouse is a large publisher of vintage posters and graphics that uses a high-quality printing process and museum-quality materials. In addition to the Perine ads, the company also offers dozens of Fender instrument and amplifier prints, reproductions of Fender’s acclaimed “Fairy Tale” ads of the mid-1970s, and a special 100-print limited edition run of “Birth of a Revolution” patent-style guitar prints using Leo Fender’s original patent submission illustrations for the Stratocaster® and Telecaster® guitars.
Six of the nine Perine prints available from ArteHouse are “You Won’t Part With Yours Either” ads, including what is perhaps the most famous of the series, one that shows a skydiver in mid-freefall with a Fender Jazzmaster® guitar.
It is the first time the still-fresh images, long cherished by guitar fans, have officially been made available, coming just on the heels of Perine’s induction into the Fender Hall of Fame in summer 2008.
Perine (1923-2004) produced clever and sharply modern advertising, catalog and graphic work for Fender from 1957 to 1969, and his artfully youthful vision helped Fender grow from regional guitar maker to industry giant. His highly successful “You Won’t Part With Yours Either” campaign depicted people carrying Fender guitars and amplifiers in a host of unlikely to outrageous settings—while scuba diving, surfing, skydiving, skiing and other adventurous situations.
