Coming Soon: 'Orange UnsignedAct' on Channel 4
Get ready for the new Orange unsignedAct on Channel 4. The name has changed from last year, and that’s not all - this time around it’ll be bigger and better.
It’s not just bands they’re after – singer-songwriters are welcome too. And the show is casting the net far and wide from rock to hip-hop to grime to electro or any other style you may have so long as you write and perform your own material.
Together with Sony Ericsson, we’ll embark on a nationwide search for one truly mind-blowing musical talent. You will be able to catch it all on T4 every Sunday at 12.30pm.
And once again, the prize on offer is a deal with Universal Music.
You’ll have to impress the expert panel of judges - Radio 1’s Jo Whiley, ex-Blur bassist Alex James and head of A&M records Simon Gavin. And it’ll all be overseen by XFM’s Alex Zane.
The show will provide nationwide exposure to the featured acts plus the overall winner will land a deal with Universal Records.
They will also be taking the chosen acts on tour supporting some of the most well known names in music.
Our website launches on the 11th August where bands will have until the 1st of September to register before auditions take place:
