EDIROL have a huge presence at the London International Music Show with all of their incredible new hardware on show, amazing software from Cakewalk and a live VJ challenge! You’d be mad to miss it!

EDIROL Europe will be at stand F92 at the London International Music Show (LIMS) which takes place between 12th and 15th of June 2008 at the London ExCel Centre. They will be demoing their new ranges of audio and video hardware (including the brand new R-09HR & R-44 field recorders) plus all-new software from Cakewalk including the incredible SONAR 7 and Pro Suite. A special R-09 chillout area will be created for people to check out the new HR model and users can even play and record an acoustic guitar to check out the pristine quality of this incredible new field recorder!

EDIROL have also thrown down the gauntlet to Europe’s best VJs challenging them to perform a live set at this year’s LIMS and nine finalists will be performing, during the show. Three finalists will appear on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday and, as well as the honour of winning the first EDIROL VJ Challenge, the best VJ will also win two incredible prizes in the form of the new V-8 mixer and the new P-10 visual presenter worth a combined £1899 RRP!

Other EDIROL highlights at LIMS

On Education day (Friday) EDIROL will run a seminar called ‘EDIROL and Cakewalk in Education’ in the Learning Room at 10:30am.
 
• Introducing SONAR in the Music Classroom. An informal session for secondary music teachers, exploring ways in which SONAR music software can be integrated with the latest EDIROL hardware in a range of technology activities. The seminar also includes a brief introduction to SONAR Music Projects, a classroom resource for teachers.
 
On Saturday EDIROL will run a session called ‘SONAR and the Project Studio’ in the Learning Room at 10:30am
 
• SONAR and the Project Studio. Cakewalk's product specialists give tips on how to enhance both creativity and workflow in your project studio, featuring the world-class SONAR 7 music production software in combination with the latest EDIROL hardware.

The EDIROL V-8 is a new video mixer that looks set to dominate the market in the same way as EDIROL’s ubiquitous V-4 by offering seven inputs plus an RGB input for computers.
