Live for Mukuru 2008 - Help The Street Kids Of Kenya!
Once again, the New Picket Liverpool is hosting what promises to be a night to remember. Inspired by the Mukuru Project Liverpool, a compilation of artists, whom many consider to be La crème, are coming together to celebrate this second annual concert. Mukuru Project Liverpool is dedicated in supporting the poor, the sick and the disadvantaged of those Kenyans living in the Mukuru Slums of Nairobi.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the Musicians and those supporting the event to show the children and young people of Nairobi that the people here in Liverpool do care, helping to empower them to live with dignity, satisfying their need for food, clothing, housing and education. It is especially important that now, in their dark days, we stand together.” Jim Seed, the founder of Mukuru Project Liverpool .
Live For Mukuru 2008 takes place on the 29th February 2008, doors open from 8pm, pay on door/tickets £5.
You can buy advance tickets from the Dolphin Music shop on Ranelagh St., Liverpool.
