The SolidBody Custom Koa is well-appointed, with sensuous-feeling cast-aluminium hardware, a sleek neck, proprietary Style One humbuckers and significant upgrades for the discriminating player: its ergonomically sculpted body and neck are carved from Australian blackwood; a hand-cut top of exotic Hawaiian koa laminate is inset into the body, and special Koa Series inlays decorate the fast-playing ebony fretboard. Color options for the SolidBody Standard include a new, earthy 'Natural' satin finish, or, for a vintage vibe, Taylor's 'Aged Cherry' Sunburst. Either finish is applied over a beautiful top of 'quilted' or 'curly' ash, inset in the contoured body and edged with purfling for a unique aesthetic treatment.

The SolidBody Classic now comes in four bold colours: Transparent Red (white pearloid pickguard); Black (black pearloid pickguard); Natural (tortoiseshell pickguard); and Transparent White (white pearloid pickguard).
