PreSonus EUREKA and HP60 in Multimedios Radio Stations, Mexico
On a recent visit to Mexico, PreSonus Director of International Sales Mark Williams was given a tour of Mexico’s first radio station, Multimedios. Multimedios is owned by Grupo Multimedios, the largest media conglomerate in Northern Mexico. Multimedios operates 37 radio stations broadcasting primarily in Northern Mexico and Madrid, Spain. In addition to their radio stations, Mulitmedios also produces cable TV programs, a newspaper, billboard advertising, and cinemas. Multimedios is currently using 39 PreSonus EUREKA’s and have just added 6 HP60’s to their studios.
“The Eureka is a great tool to give body to the voice. It comes with a very complete equalization and compression system. It is very versatile and dynamic for the user. It also has a presentation that is extraordinary,” says Olivia Falcón, Engineer at Multimedios.
Stereo output is also available on each channel to send line level headphone channel mixes to additional headphone amplifiers or monitor systems.
