IK Multimedia's Miroslav Philharmonik Classik Edition - Great Reviews!
A most detailed, excellent review of Miroslav CE could be found in the May 2007 issue of Professional Audio magazine.
"Uncomplicated usage und instant playability together with clearly arranged content has been of paramount importance to the conception of Miroslav Classik Edition.
Excellent, warm sound
Organic sounding CSR algorithm
Instrument is extremely performance-friendly
"IK Multimedia has thought particularly at novices in the area of classical composition. They would be hopelessly lost confronted with the opulent choice at variations (in larger libraries). Miroslav Classik Edition is also perfect for all those outside classical music who would like to add an orchestral instrument in their productions every now and then and first of all, without any hassle at all…The sound quality and the depth of various instruments is the same of the wellknown Miroslav Philharmonik (as confirmed in our test) and it is also very easy to upgrade to the full version later on if need be."
Pretty good, no? You can read the review in German here.
But there was more to come - in the June 2007 issue of MusicTech Magazine (out now), the Miroslav Philharmonik Classik Edition was given the thumbs up again.
MusicTech praised its interface, which can sometimes be a let down in other entry-level products, and saId: "...if you like to get creative with your sounds, this has got to be one of the best solutions going, enabling you to quickly layer different samples and transform their harmonic properties in ways only possible with full-blown samplers like Kontakt 2"
Here's their conclusion:
And you can be sure of one thing: you'll hear more about Miroslav Philharmonik Classik Edition...this is a truly amazing software, and great value, too!
