Kings Of Leon rock the charts with Gibson and Epiphone!
Kings Of Leon are currently reigning at the top of the Album Charts for the second week running, thanks to their 3rd album, “Because Of The Times”. And the gospel-rebelling, southern rockers from Nashville love their Gibson and Epiphone guitars.
Guitarist Matt Followill has once declared, when questioned about his Epiphone Sheraton guitar: "it’s a cool guitar. It sounds great."

For years now, Matt has relied on only two guitars - besides the Sheraton he also uses a 1971 Les Paul Custom.
In Because of the Times, his bandmate Caleb Followill again nails the Kings of Leon’s tried-and-true themes of debauchery, Southern-style, this time narrating stories both poetic and polemic of illegitimate pregnancy, relationships smeared through with mascara tears, and barroom brawls that get taken to the street. Though Caleb took on the lyrics for the past two albums, he shared songwriting credits with all the Followills this time around. “We took the limitations off of ourselves,” says Caleb. “We went into the studio with an open mind, thinking let’s do whatever it takes to get these songs to the next level. Because we really have a lot of music inside of us and a lot of different places we can go.”
