G-DEC JUNIOR
The baby of the award-winning G-DEC® family! The G-DEC Junior is the newest model in Fender's innovative series of Guitar Digital Entertainments Centers, giving beginning guitarists, students and songwriters a 15-watt jamming partner and practice tool that's easy to use and ready to travel.
Like all G-DECs, the G-DEC Junior is unlike any other practice amp on the market. It gives guitarists 16 classic amp sounds ranging from "Tweed" to "Metal" and "Acoustic," plus 15 effects, an "E" tuner, a metronome, and more. G-DEC JuniorBut what makes things really cool is the G-DEC's onboard drum loops and bass lines in selectable keys and speeds, so guitarists can practice and write with a constant, tireless companion.
"Ever since we introduced the original G-DEC, customers have been asking us to create both larger, more powerful, and smaller, simpler models," commented Shane Nicholas, Fender's Marketing Manager of Amplifiers. "With the G-DEC EXEC we offered something with upscale cosmetics; with the G-DEC 30 we delivered more power, memory, and control, and now, with the G-DEC Junior, we've got a simple, almost cute model. It looks like our famous Pro Junior™, but it's fun for players of all skill levels."
The G-DEC Junior packs the G-DEC's most popular features into an ultra-affordable—and ultra-portable—package. Instead of the LCD screen found on the larger G-DEC models, all functions are controlled via top-panel knobs, making it easy for even first-time players to learn and use. And although the G-DEC Junior is a scaled-down offering, this single 8" model still serves up tons of killer tones and fun backing patterns.
Other standout G-DEC Junior features include a MIDI port for streaming files from a PC, and an auxiliary input for connecting to an iPod®, mp3 player, or CD player. ORDER NOW!
CHAMPION 600
Fender is proud to introduce its hardest-working five-watt guitar amplifier ever. The affordable new Champion™ 600 guitar amp pays tribute to the cute and ultra-collectible 1949-53-era Champion guitar amps, serving up five blistering watts of all-tube tone, plus the classic cosmetics that make the original amps so desirable.
The Champion 600 is the perfect low-output tube amp for practicing and recording, with a 6" speaker, simple controls, and that classic Fender "two-tone" look—brown and blonde vinyl covering, leather strap handle, and red jewel pilot light. Champion 600The low-gain circuit of the original was developed in conjunction with lap steels; the new Champion 600 has been updated to suit the needs of most guitarists with its 12AX7 and 6V6 tubes offering a bit more of that dynamic, natural overdrive when cranked.
"The Champion 600 is beautiful in its simplicity; a straightforward tribute to some very collectable little amps." observed Shane Nicholas, Fender's Marketing Manager of Amplifiers. "By keeping it simple, it's also very affordable—perfect for tube amp novices and collectors alike. And it's so cute, you can sit it on the kitchen counter next to the toaster!"
Champion 600 features include the aforementioned all-tube circuitry, a 6" Special Design speaker, high gain and low gain inputs, a single volume control, and an external speaker output. But this amp isn't about features; it's about that classic low-wattage tube amp sound.
"Guitarists will come for the looks, but they'll stay for the tone," confirmed Nicholas. "Plug in, turn all the way up, and work your guitar's controls to hear this amp work all five watts of its tube mojo."
The Champion 600 will be available in February 2007. ORDER NOW!

'57 DELUXE
Fender amp-heads, rejoice! In a nod to countless requests from fans worldwide, Fender will begin producing authentic, hand-wired recreations of the amazing '57 Deluxe™ guitar amp. This highly-collectible, 12-watt, all-tube amplifier with 12" speaker will be hand-built, one by one, at the Fender factory in Corona, Calif.
For the uninitiated, the original Fender Deluxe™ amps of the 1950s were medium-powered units designed to let guitarists "hold their own" in a small group. As blues, western, and rockabilly bands began getting louder and wilder, the overdriven tone of a cranked-up Deluxe found its way onto countless live and recorded performances. Over the past five decades, players of every conceivable style have employed '50s-era Deluxe amps for their unmistakable warm, rich tube tone.
'57 Deluxe "We are really proud to be giving discerning guitarists and tube amp enthusiasts what they've been asking for," noted Fender's Marketing Manager of Amplifiers, Shane Nicholas. "This is such a soulful, timeless amp, so we took great pains to nail the perfect sound and vibe."
Like the original models, the '57 Deluxe recreation will feature a hand-wired, all-tube late 1950s 5E3 circuit design, 12" Alnico-magnet Jensen® P-12Q speaker, a 5Y3GT rectifier tube (to provide natural "sag") and a finger-joined solid pine cabinet to resonate with a warm, woody tone. And cosmetically, this lacquered tweed amp is virtually undistinguishable from the original, save for a "standby" switch in place of the 1950s-issue "polarity" switch.
But the '57 Deluxe is really all about its tone—packing tons of harmonically rich clean sounds at lower volumes, and a fat, compressed, wildly distorted sound that's completely inspiring (and easy to record) when you turn it up.
"Set the knobs half-way up, and it provides gorgeous clean or overdriven tones depending on picking dynamics," confirmed Nicholas. "But when this amp is cranked, it distorts like a sweating, snorting pig."
The '57 Deluxe will be available beginning in February 2007. ORDER NOW!
'57 AMP

The amp includes a leather collector’s portfolio containing a certificate of authenticity, designer notes, factory photos and some other surprises. Custom-embroidered plush-lined cover included.
